Regulations
- Art. 1. Any person aged 13 years and over wishing to fish at Lake Gouille must hold a daily permit issued by the society, pay the permit fee as well as the taxes and charges prescribed in the fishing legislation, at our various points of sale. The permit is non-transferable. Any child up to 13 years old may fish, with their own rod, under the responsibility of a permit holder, with the catches being attributed to the latter. However, they may only be accompanied by one child who is neither their father nor their legal representative.
- Art. 2. Any person in possession of a fishing permit must be aware of these regulations. No excuse will be accepted during checks if the fisherman acts contrary to the provisions of the regulations, which are communicated to the Service of Hunting, Fishing and Wildlife.
Art. 3. Opening periods according to the cantonal ordinance:
- a. For members: from the 1st Sunday in June to the last Sunday in November
- b. For non-members: from the 2nd Sunday in June to the 1st Sunday in October
- c. Opening hours: June, July, August 6:00–21:00 · September, October 8:00–19:00 · November 8:00–17:00
Art. 4. Permits for non-members:
- a. Daily: 28.00 CHF + cantonal tax 2.00 CHF
- b. Active and junior members: annual subscription + cantonal tax 2.00 CHF per authorised fishing day
- c. Taxes are not due if members or non-members have a cantonal fishing permit
- Art. 5. Permits can be collected at our various points of sale.
- Art. 6. The permit must be presented at any request from the fishing warden, the cantonal surveillance offices, or a member of the Association.
- Art. 7. All our trout meet the minimum size according to the cantonal fishing service (24 cm). No fish should be returned to the water (no-kill prohibited).
- Art. 8. In addition to the methods and means of fishing prohibited under Articles 6 and 8 of the fishing law, all forms of float fishing and the use of paste on the hook are prohibited in all forms. All other forms of fishing are allowed with a single bait and a single hook without a barb. The provisions of Article 30 of the cantonal ordinance are applicable.
- Art. 9. The maximum number of catches is 5, with a daily permit. This figure also applies to members. Furthermore, members will be limited to a total annual number of 50 trout.
- Art. 10. Members of the Association will observe the 3 days of truce, namely: Monday, Tuesday, and Friday. However, Whit Monday, Corpus Christi, St. John's Day (24 June), 15 August, and the Monday of the Federal Fast are considered as a Sunday.
- Art. 11. Any introduction of boats or rafts onto the lakes is prohibited, and our lake is not a recreational area.
- Art. 12. Any infringement will result in the withdrawal of the Gouille fishing permit and will be reported to the Fishing Service. Upon denunciation, the fees owed to the Association are between 100 and 500 CHF, regardless of the cantonal decision.
