About
The Association and fishing
The Association of Fishermen of the Gouille was founded in 1970. Since then, it has pursued the same goal: a non-profit society that fosters friendships among fishermen and offers its members and passing guests the opportunity to practice their favourite sport in a magnificent alpine setting, in complete tranquility.
The region
Lake Gouille is located in the Arolla valley, at the top of the Val d'Hérens, in Valais. It marks the start of the path leading to the Blue Lake, one of the most popular hiking routes in the valley.
The region of Évolène, renowned for its authentic mountain villages, its mayens and the proximity of the peaks of the Arolla valley (Pigne d'Arolla, Mont Collon), offers an exceptional alpine setting both in summer and winter. A setting that matches the tranquility sought by the fishermen of the Association since 1970.
